Places you can findSacramento area golf courses.

Many regional golf courses have remained open.

Think about it – golfers don’t need to be close in order to play a round.

The four city of Sacramento courses remain open: William Land, Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney and Bartley Cavanaugh. The three county courses are also open: Ancil Hoffman, Mather and Cherry Island, the Sacramento Bee reported. There are no club rentals, course restaurants are closed, ball washers are covered up, and golf carts are restricted to one golfer only.

Will golf trick shots ever get old? As long as the artists who have mastered them continue to try and outdo each other with their creativity, probably not. After 2017, a year that included a little bit of everything, 2018 had a tough act to follow, but it did so and then some. Of course, legends of the game like Josh Kelley and Tania Tare provided a ton of incredible feats, but they had plenty of competition, including some from a legendary NFL quarterback, Tiger "Hood" and a construction worker. Without further ado, here's our favorite golf trick shots of 2018.

You only have to youtube golf trick shots to say many fine examples, but here's some word descriptions so you can use your imagination...

Most golfers are very particular of the tee they use, it has to be perfect, the right height, and the right width, because the wrong one can affect your shot.

Tisha Alyn has not such concerns, she tees her ball up on an empty beer bottle before kicking the bottle out of the way and crushing the ball the out of the air. Any shot this impressive is something to be proud of, so Tisha then tees up a happy dance for her efforts.

In these dark days for golf, perhaps the best place to look is inward. As the game we love leaves the professional landscape for at least a month (if not longer), some experts are pointing to golf as a safe activity we can all do to get outside. (Just make sure you follow the right precautions.)

But while we can all get outside, we can’t all have the talent of young Leo Boniface. The 7-year-old golfer has over 10,000 Instagram followers, largely for his incredible trick shot videos.

Last week, “the kid golfer” posted the best of the bunch of his trick shot videos.
